Craniosacral Therapy (CST) for Sciatica
Sciatica is a common condition experienced by many people but particularly those that are active, sporty or pregnant. Typically, sufferers endure pain across the lower back and hip, across the buttocks and down one leg, which is often accompanied by numbness, tingling or weakness and difficulty moving or controlling the affected leg.

There are often many causes of Sciatica, but it is usually a compression of the sciatic nerve, the largest nerve in the body, that winds its way through and around several muscles in the pelvic cavity. Pelvic cavity muscle tension and spasm, particularly of the piriformis muscle, can squeeze the sciatic nerve causing pain and discomfort. Relaxing the muscles helps to take the pressure off the sciatic nerve, relieving the symptoms of Sciatica. It may be resolved in just two or three treatments of Craniosacral Therapy, which helps relax you and improve nerve function and blood flow.
