Craniosacral Therapy (CST) for Teenagers
It’s stressful being a teenager. It can also be physically demanding as many growth spurts propel your body towards adulthood. Combined with exam stress, the pressure to fit in, anxiety over friendships and other relationships, growing pains, illness and injury, it’s tough being a teen and just like the rest of us, teenagers need to focus on their well-being in order to get the most out of life.

CST is good for any stage of life but may be of particular benefit to teenagers. Mental fuzziness, mood swings, muscle spasms, migraines and motor-coordination issues can all be caused by the structural misalignment of muscles and tension in the connective tissue. Using a very light touch to track the ebb and flow of cerebrospinal fluid, I can manipulate and subtly realign these parts of the body so that tensions are unblocked and the body can ‘remember’ its correct positioning, promoting self healing.

Conditions suffered by teenagers that may be helped by CST include:
  • Autism and Aspergers
  • Central Nervous System disorders
  • Chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia
  • Chronic neck and back pain and scoliosis
  • Depression, anger and anxiety
  • Exam stress and pressure
  • Growth spurts
  • Migraines and headaches
  • Motor Coordination
  • Orthopedic problems
  • Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
  • Sinusitis
  • TMJ Syndrome
